Nestled on a hilltop called Mata Dara, our property is built on just over one bigha of land — secluded from the main village, yet easily accessible for those looking to explore offbeat North Bengal.
The Story
Rajib and Rumki, once a resident of Kolkata, were inspired to create Rocky Top Retreat after the COVID-19 pandemic and a near-death experience changed their outlook on life. Seeking healing and connection with nature, the couple relocated to Sinji in 2021 and began building a space that would offer what the city could not — fresh air, freedom, and stillness.
